Charity Classic

Charity Classic XV Golf Tournament Presented by Builders Insurance Group Donates $60,000 to Kids’ Chance of GA, Inc. – $710,000 in Charitable Contributions to Date!

The 15th annual charity and sporting event took place on Thursday, September 29 at beautiful Chateau Elan Golf Course. Through the support of 64 corporate sponsors and donors, 200 golfers and 25 volunteers, the event raised $60,000 for charity! All of this year’s funds will support Kids’ Chance of Georgia, Inc. in its mission of providing educational scholarships for the children of Georgia workers who have been catastrophically injured in work-related accidents.  These young people move on to serve our communities in important careers such as doctors, lawyers, teachers and more.

The tremendous success of the Charity Classic is a true testament to the unwavering dedication and giving spirit of its loyal and generous participants.  We offer our deepest gratitude to all of participants for their commitment.  We also wish to provide special recognition to our Platinum $5,000 Sponsors: Bendin, Sumrall & Ladner LLC; Builder Agent Network; Cuzdey, Erhmann, Wagner, Stine & Sansalone LLC; Moore Ingram Johnson & Steele LLP; and Western Pacific Insurance Network

Lynda Smith, Executive Director of Kids’ Chance had this to say, “Kids' Chance of Georgia is honored to be the charitable organization that receives the funds from Builders Insurance Group's Charity Golf Tournament. Your generous donation funds scholarships for multiple students who might otherwise not be able to further their education. Thanks to your contributions over the years, many are currently engaged in fulfilling careers.”

Once again – thank you to everyone who helped support this event and this worthy cause!  We look forward to seeing you at Charity Classic XVI presented by Builders Insurance Group in 2017!
